There is no public information about his parents. Although, his mother was from Larache and his father was from Nador. Morad comes from a family of Moroccan origin. The Florida neighborhood of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, where he grew up in an area that is famous for being multicultural and with high levels of social and economic exclusion.

Morad started his career by uploading the songs on the platforms like Youtube and SoundCloud in 2018. He became famous in his hometown and neighborhood areas as his music deeply explained the difficulties, lack of opportunities of young people in his surrounding areas.
In 2018, he also released a single Un cuento due to which he got known by the spanish community. After some time he released many singles No son de calle , La vida loca , La calle me enseñar and Lo que quiero which quickly become hits. First Studio Album:
Morad's first album was released in 2019 by name MDLR (Mec de la Rue, which means “street boy” in French ). After some months he came with another single A Ocultas which garnered him a platinum certification. A year later, he released the next part of the first studio album MDLR 2.0 in an EP format.
Morad Collaboration with Bizarrap:
In 2019 his song got more than 5 million plays within 24 hours which he collaborated with the Bizarrap an Argentine producer on the BZRP Music Session #47.

Morad released an EP Chapter 1 in 2022 due to which he entered in the spotify most listened to emerging artist in Spain. This EP was in the drill genre. Although he published and worked many in different genres.

This Reinsertado his second album becomes the most successful of his albums till date which was released in 2023.

Worked with Sportswear:
He teamed up with Adidas in 2022 and developed a range of soccer jerseys under the Adidas x MDLR banner. Afterwards, the rapper came to a deal with the company to endorse sportswear of La Florida CF football team based in the city where the rapper was born.
Arrests of Morad:
In the years 2021 and 2022 he was arrested on several occasions; the first being the fighting with an authority figure in La Florida which led to his arrest, then he was arrested for burglary but freed after trial since no evidence supplied, and later arrested due to unauthorized driving.
He was again put behind bars in the month of October in the year 2022 for calling for disorder in the streets. In the end, this action led to him being restricted from residing within his own area of habitation. In April 2024, he willingly went to jail for an instance of dangerous driving, however in the month of May he was released under a suspended sentence that allowed him to go out only for the weekends.
As to political views, Morad supports King Mohammed VI and accepts Moroccan control over Western Sahara.
