Silvio worked as an engineer for both General Motors and Chrysler. She has three younger sisters called Paula (born 1959), Melanie (born 1962) and Christopher (born 1960) and two elder brothers called Anthony(born 1956)and Martin (born in 1957).
On her confirmation day in the year 1966, she received the name Veronica.
She grew up in Pontiac and Avon Township (now Rochester Hills), suburbs of Detroit. Her mother died when she was six years old from breast cancer. In the year of their marriage in 1966, Joan Gustafson became their nanny who bore Mario (born in 1968) and Jennifer(born in 1967).
Education:
She studies at the St. Fredericks, St. Andrews Catholic Elementary Schools, West Middle School.
She had a reputation for being a good student and for acting out of character by performing cartwheels down hallways or doing handstands or even lifting her skirt to show boys her panties.
At Adams High School Rochester, Madonna joined the cheerleading squad. She later earned a scholarship to study Dance at the University of Michigan's School of Music, Theatre & Dance after graduating. In this regard, She won over her father to let her take ballet lessons while Christopher Flynn urged her ballet teacher into helping him choose dance as a future profession.
In New York City she dropped out of college and started waitressing jobs there instead because that is where Madonna relocated to after dropping out of college.
Beginning of Carrer :
She began her career in the music industry during the seventies and she is known as a composer, singer and producer.

Rise of Madonna Fame:
She had performed with different bands that constantly changed managers. In 1983, she made public her first single called "Everybody" which marked the beginning of her stardom.
Madonna (1983) and Like a Virgin (1984), albums that sold millions of copies vie for attention among music lovers.
A year later True Blue was launched, becoming a bestseller album. This was followed by Like a Prayer in 1989 which outsold all other records at that time.
Movies of Madonna:
She played in Desperately Seeking Susan (1985). On Broadway, one of the plays she did was Speed the Plow, which turned out to be very successful. She also starred along with Sean Penn who became her husband on August 16th 1985 in one more film Shanghai Surprise, which turned out to be a fiasco.
In 1998 after Who's that Girl there was You Can Dance. A new tour has been an instant success. To say nothing about provocation, versatility of performances or fame across countries throughout the world – it would not be about Madonna’s video clips or concerts themselves anyway!
However, in the movie Dick Tracy (1990), where he appeared alongside Warren Beatty, they fell for each other. Subsequently there was also Dick Tracy soundtrack. Two years from then she acted in A League of Their Own. Erotica was released in 1992 and then, in 1994, Bedtime Stories appeared which brought a new twist in her career and was also commercially successful.
Golden Globe:
Two years later she starred in the film Evita, together with Antonio Banderas, for which she received the Golden Globe for Best Actress. In addition, the album containing the motion picture’s music was issued and in October the same year her daughter Lourdes María Ciccone was born as a result of an affair with Carlos Leon from Cuba. Ray of Light came out in 1998 and Music appeared two years after that. Movies like Desperately Seeking Susan or Evita showed Madonna's talents to a better advantage than others did. Her appearance on the cinema screens was a flop at the United States box office in 2002.
Swept Away, an action-packed movie directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Madonna herself was a failure too. It was produced by Madonna herself along with Mirwais Ahmadzai – American Life is an album dating back to early 2003 that once again ended up being controversial. A couple of days before launching the first single, the video had been taken off due to its warlike content and criticism of America.
American Life:
In a deluxe format, American Life, as usual for Madonna’s career, was released as a limited edition with embroidered leather cover and other goodies. Madonna Second children’s book appeared in 2003 after the scuccess of film The English Roses.
The EP titled Remixed and Revisited was released in November 2003 with seven tracks. This album featured duets with Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Missy Elliott and other musicians. Some remixes are included also on that album together with an unreleased track called Your Honesty.
New Name Esther:
In June 2004, the pop star known for courting controversies decided to change her name to Esther, which is of Hebrew origin. Her new name gave her a new appearance before the public eye more than like a materialistic girl but rather like a simple Jewish girl. She told ABC News’ 20/20 show that she identifies herself with Kabbalah’s teachings because she had been brought up in a Catholic household where she still attends mass regularly. In 2012 MDNA was her album that seemed to play on words in between MDMA (ecstasy), one of its street names and Madonna. MDNA, Madonna’s latest release was entitled “MDNA” which sold in March this year.
Madame X:
On April 2nd since when Madame X would become the title of her next studio project was announced by Madonna during an interview on L’Uomo Vogue magazine. Medellin ft Maluma is the leading single from this project released on April 4th On May 18, the Eurovision gala had a live audience of over two hundred million viewers tuning from across the world who watched Madonna perform at Tel Aviv Expo Pavilion where she showcased one song named Future featuring Quavo. Finally, Enough Love: 50 Number Ones was Warner’s follow-up album; it was a remix album on which they compiled all of Madonna’s number one songs on Hot Dance Club Songs. It came out on August 19th, 2022 and peaked at number eight on the Billboard chart.
