She signed a recording contract with Warner Music Brasil in January 2013. On April 16 of that same year, she premiered her single Show das Poderosas. This song became one of the most successful hits in Brazil. After the success of this song, Anitta rose in Brazilian pop music and, subsequently, in the international music scene.
Platinum Certification:
She released her self-titled debut album “Anitta” in July 2013, which produced four Brazilian hit singles and helped her to become certified platinum.
Her second studio album, Ritmo Perfeito (2014), was released on the same day as her first live album, Meu Lugar.
Popularity in Portuguese:
She released her third studio album, Bang, in 2015. It was certified platinum and has three hit singles: Deixa Ele Sofrer (the title track), Bang Essa Mina é Louca (Bang Essa Mina é Louca) and Cravo e Canela (Crack and Cane). This album united the Anitta popularity position as a major star on the Brazilian and Portuguese record charts.
In 2017, When Anitta released her first song entirely in Spanish and accelerated her transition into the Spanish-language Latin and reggaetón genres despite its Portuguese title, Paradinha.

After the release of her fifth studio album, Versions of Me (2022), contained the lead single Envolver, which topped Spotify's Global Top 50 chart, a first for a Brazilian or Latin American solo artist. She reserved herself on the number one on US Billboard Global Excl chart. Also, number two on Billboard Global, making Anitta the first Brazilian artist to top a global music chart.

In April 2023, the singer Anitta was welcomed into the record label, Republic Records. A month later, in an interview, she shared that her next studio album would be a bilingual album themed around Carioca funk. On August 1 of that same year Anitta announced through her social media the release of the EP Funk Generation: A Favela Love Story. It contains the songs Funk Rave, Casi casi and Used to Be all of which have worked along with a music video for publicity and are part of a visual trilogy which are all geared towards the forthcoming sixth studio album Funk Generation which is scheduled for release in 2024.
